Interventional cardiologist
This physician will serve as a team leader in establishing a cardiology program at Northern Nevada Medical Center and be responsible for STEMI and chest pain protocols. The candidate should be interested in working with, and receiving support from, established cardiology group practices in the Reno/Sparks area for both open-heart backup and call support.

Neurologist
Candidates are given two options to consider...startup of an independent private practice in which the hospital will provide an income guarantee with overhead support or joining an existing private practice group in the area. A great compensation package will be offered with either option, including income guarantee, startup overhead expenses and relocation expenses. The candidate can expect a large caseload with opportunity for general neurology surgery and specialty cases.

Urologist
This candidate will join an established private practice. The new physician will have the opportunity to do general urology, specialty cases and to share calls. A great compensation package will be offered, including income guarantee, startup overhead expenses and relocation expenses.

Family practice
Family practice physicians are needed to join Northern Nevada Medical Group. Physicians may choose to be employed by the hospital or to receive financial assistance as an independent contractor. Physicians have the option to choose outpatient-only or a traditional practice with local hospitalists providing inpatient care for their patients. Candidate can expect a large caseload because of the rapid growth and demand for family practice in the area.

Internal medicine
Internists are needed to join Northern Nevada Medical Group's new medical building in the Spanish Springs area, a high-growth planned community seven miles north of Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks. The medical building holds a new imaging and lab center. The candidate can expect a hospital-sponsored solo position with a great compensation package. There is the high expectation of a large caseload due to rapid growth and demand for primary care physicians in the area.
